Allow me to introduce you to Sox, a truly sweet, affectionate, loyal little dog who came to HAL from a foster home in South Carolina. At first she was anxious and reluctant to make friends, but in a couple days she warmed up and now, a week later she is friendly and seeking attention from everyone who comes to visit. Sox loves to be held and to snuggle up with her person. She is laid back but enjoys long walks. She is crate trained and house trained. Sox is up to date on her shots and is spayed and ready for her forever home. If you want a loyal companion for life, check out this pretty little girl. We need volunteers to foster dogs in their homes until permanent homes are found. HAL provides vet care, food, toys. crates, etc. for the dog you are caring for. You provide love, and compassion. If you can't foster but can help watch a dog overnight here and there, help with transports or events, HAL needs volunteers too!
